About Me
I am an experienced and dependable childcare professional, having worked as a nanny, babysitter and a mainstream primary school teacher. I am passionate about the social, emotional and academic development of young people and am looking to do some babysitting and childcare on top of my job as a teaching and learning officer at an alternative educational provision. I am trustworthy, communicative and extremely committed to any role I am presented with.
My Experience
I am an experienced nanny, babysitter, 1 to 1 tutor and qualified primary school teacher with 7 years of mainstream classroom teaching experience and 4 years of English subject leadership experience. I am extremely confident in the teaching of reading and phonics. I have an up to date DBS for children and young people. I have experience with all age groups from 4-18 as I currently work in an alternative provision providing creative education for children and young people. I am confident in my ability to provide a safe and stable environment for children.
My Qualifications
PGCE and QTS in Primary Education from UCL Institute of Education
8 GCSEs A* - C
4 Alevels A* - B
BA History from the University of Sheffield (1st class degree)
My Availability
I am available in the evenings from 5pm onwards. I am also available in the daytime and evenings during school holidays.
