Hello! My name is Emily and I am 23 years old from New Zealand. I am looking for a live in nanny role (approximately 40 hours per week).
I am a fun loving, committed and diligent individual who is seeking a fulfilling role working with a family and their children. I have moved from New Zealand to London to experience a different culture and lifestyle. I love spending time outdoors and going on adventures whether they be big or small. I enjoy being apart of children's growth and helping them learn more about themselves and the world everyday.
I have worked with children my whole life and enjoy supporting and encouraging their development. My parents owned and operated an early childhood centre, and I spent over 16 years of my life involved with this business, including working there during the holidays. I am a positive and motivated person, able to provide children with activities and challenges that are fun, interesting and encourage their learning.
My Experience
I have experience with a range of different ages of children and their varying needs. I have nannied in between my studies during the holidays full time. My responsibilities included:
- Arranging activities for the children to remain active and entertained
- Ensuring the children are fed nutritious meals
- Morning and evening routines
- Dog walking/sitting
- Household duties such as laundry and tidying
I have experience with an autistic child and ensured that they felt safe and secure in their surroundings. This experience has enabled me to be adaptable and to have a calm nature to ensure all parties are cared for.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce - 2021
New Zealand equivalent of DBS check
Full Drivers Licence (manual driver) - Please note, I do not currently have my own car
First aid certificate
