About Me
My name is Bashshar, I study Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial. I have been tutoring Math and working as an education counsellor for 5 years now. I currently tutor students from year 7 all the way to A levels so am well versed with the curriculum as well as how to communicate with them effectively. I have taught students from all over the world, US, UK, Asia. I teach various curriculums (AQA, IGSCE, National 5, Eduqas, etc) at Tutoring and Mentoring Services. One of my students also studies the French curriculum. All my students are from different backgrounds: state school, grammar schools, private schools. Recently I also taught Chinese students, to prepare them for Oxbridge/Imperial applications at CamExpress. My approach has always been to try and help students develop an understanding of problems rather than just teaching them how to solve, hence improving their problem-solving abilities.
As apparent from my experience, I love teaching students from different backgrounds, and thus this opportunity presents a new challenge for me as well as a great opportunity to learn and grow!
