About Me
My name is Esha and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I provide day time care as well as before and after school care. I am an energetic and outgoing mum and I live in Tunbridge Wells with my husband and my 2 children, in close proximity to St Mark’s. I am happy to consider all local pre-schools and primary schools for drop-off and pick-ups. My house is a 15 minute downhill walk to Tunbridge Wells station. Parking is available at my house if required and we have a large drive way to use for safe drop offs and pick ups.
I love spending time outdoors with my minded children and we are very active. I offer healthy home-cooked meals with fresh ingredients and lots of fruit and vegetables. I have a safe, clean and smoke-free home. We don't have any pets apart from our fish! I have a large play room filled with lots of toys for children of all ages and books which I rotate on a regular basis and a dedicated nap room. Children are encouraged to learn through play experiences and a large variety of activities are set up in the morning, and are on offer during the day for them to take part in.
We have lots of indoor and outdoor space in my home, including a good size garden with a variety of outdoor toys including ride on bikes, seesaw, alphabet mats, paddling pool, water play, football goals, and ride-on Thomas choo choo train. I rotate and replenish the toys in my home regularly so that there is always something new to play with. We have wide range puzzles, arts and crafts and we regularly visit local toddler groups, parks, the library, arrange play dates with other childminders, visit woodlands, cook and bake as part of our activities.
A typical day includes
* children arriving at 8 am, breakfast and school runs
* 9.30 - 11.30 am we do an outdoor activity / play group
* 12.00 - 2.30 pm we have our lunch and organise any pick ups / drop offs. Children may settle for a nap or do a quiet activity / stories
* 2.30 - 3.30 pm school run/ pick ups
* 3.30 - 4.30 pm Free play / adult led activity
* 4.30 - 5.30 pm Dinner time
* 5.30 - 6.00 pm Tidy up time, stories, chill out time and home time
My Experience
Since having my first child, I decided not to go back to my previous Software Developer job in London and instead find a career that fits around my family. Childminding has allowed me to do just this! I have had lots of experience working with children professionally; I completed my postdoctoral training on child development at Seattle Children's hospital where I worked with a wide range of young children for my research. Since having my two children I have of course, gathered much more hands on experience!
My Qualifications
I have completed a childminding course, a paediatric first aid course and have an up to date DBS certificate. I have a PhD in Psychology and I specialise in infant development.
My Availability
I am available 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. I am also available for weekends and evening but this would need to be arranged beforehand.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
£8.50 an hour. You can choose to supply meals or I can cook for your child.
