About Me
My name is Iman Sefti and I am 23 years old. I have worked in a nursery for about 6 years, I mainly worked with babies from about 3 months to about two years old but also work with toddlers and preschoolers. I worked every day a week and my main responsibilities were to look after children's health and hygiene through mealtimes, changing nappies, milk feeding, ensuring children's routines are being followed. I also have the responsibility of planning and carrying out activities that benefit children's development and learning holistically, so across the prime areas of development. I also had to relate to the EYFS framework through my planning and observations of the children, ensuring that the children are on the right track on their learning and are receiving the support they need. I also follow the policies and procedures of the nursery, ensuring children are safe and my knowledge of safeguarding is always up to date. I have the responsibility of ensuring a child is safe and being able to respond effectively in situations that may affect the child's safety. I also make sure that feedback to the parents is delivered, making sure that the parents know what their child has been doing throughout the day, what they ate, how their learning has been going.

XPERIENCE
I have worked in many different educational settings and worked with age-groups of children. When I was completing my childcare course, I started working in a nursery with children ages from 6 months until about 5 years. During then, I was a dedicated nursery practitioner with a passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children. I was always seeking a challenging position in a reputable nursery where my skills and experience would contribute to the overall development and well-being of children. While working with children, I developed a combination of skills, including patience, creativity, communication, and a genuine passion for the well-being and development of young children.
Last year, I also worked as an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) in a primary school. I worked with many age groups as I would float around different year groups when needed. I developed many skills while working in a school, becoming creative when it comes to planning activities, supporting children with additional needs, and assisting class teachers to help develop children's learning. I became dynamic and flexible to adapt to the evolving needs of students and the educational environment. I was able to collaboratively work with teachers and other school staff was essential for creating an effective and supportive learning experience for all the students.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and a Bachelor Degree in Education Studies. I am also studying a masters in PGCE, teacher training. I also have had training in first aid.
My Availability
I’m available from 5pm on weekdays and can finish late, as I am a student teacher in training. I am also available on weekends up to 3 pm.
