About Me
I am a mother of 2 grown up children, one boy and one girl who are 20 and 24 and a Mini Yorkie called Troy. I am a registered childminder and also registered with CSMA. I live in Blantyre. I have a bubbly personality and a great passion for working with children. I have 6 years of experience working in childcare including nursery setting from babies to 5 years of age. I decided to open my own childminding business because I believe children have the same opportunity to thrive in a home environment.
I believe the early years are the most important years to child development, and I feel proud when I am part of that learning path. In my experience, when a child starts, as their key worker, I am there with them every step of the way to make sure their needs, choices, and comfort are met. I have a great bond with parents, and that is the key when a parent trusts and leaves their children with comfort.
While they are in my care, I will follow the SHANARRI, which is based on the child's well-being from Scotlands Frame Work, Getting It Right for every child. where I will make sure your child feels safe, healthy, active, nurtured, achieving, responsibly, respected, and included.
I love to have a messy play, and I am very keen on the outdoors and lose parts. I follow the curriculum, and my setting reflects that.
My Experience
I have experience with babies up to the age of 5. I am a qualified and registered care for children up to the age of 16. I have also experience in looking after special needs children.
I will apply for local funding if required. Anything that helps the parents to make it stress-free, I will be there to help. I have been doing continuous learning when I have the opportunity to do so. I am familiar with The document and will be using it in my setting, Together and we will and we can, Curriculum of Excellence.
My Qualifications
HNC childhood practice, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, and child protection, child development, motor skills, understanding children's: babies being heard, exploring children's learning, Understnding early years environment and children's spaces, Supporting children and young people's well-being, first aid.

I am available from 7-6 Baby sitting available.

We are delighted to have both our girls with Shazia. They have been with her since they were 7 months and 2 and a half and absolutely love it. They always are excited to get going and are well cared for and stimulated throughout the days.
Highly recommend and we are so glad to have found her!
