About Me
I am Beatriz, an experienced and qualified Montessori nursery teacher and a mum of my one year old. I believe in a Montessori and gentle parenting approach with children, prioritising safety, love, kindness, respect, and fun. I am warm and lovely with children, and an honest and trustworthy professional. I love working closely with parents to support both children and families.
I run Mottingham Montessori Childcare at home, where my child stays with me. The environment is set to offer educational activities, fun games and free play, all in line with the national curriculum and with a Montessori approach. We also enjoy going out everyday to local playgrounds, parks, the library, and children centres.
My Experience
I have over 14 years experience in Early Years settings. I started as a music teacher for Early Years in Spain, and then I gained experience in several nurseries across London. In the last four years I was a Montessori teacher in the official Maria Montessori Institute, where I had the opportunity to lead a classroom of 25 children.

My youngest daughter started with Beatriz nearly a month ago. It was her first time away from mom and dad for a whole day but she settled in quickly thanks to Bea's kindness and enthusiasm. My baby is very happy at drop off and pick ups, which is very important for us. Bea takes care of her baby son at the same time, and it seems they love spending time together, so it looks like my girl has found her first friend ever. There's great communication between us and loads of fun activities every day. So far so good, we are very happy with Beatriz. I fully recommend.
