About Me

Hi! I'm Melissa; childcare provider at Little Acorns Childminding based in Kells. At Little Acorns my main aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. Providing a warm and welcoming home from home setting, where children can enjoy both structured activities and free play in the playroom and also explore the secure outdoor garden area. This will enable them to develop their essential skills and reach their full developmental potential, whilst always having the upmost fun. Nutritious meals are provied daily with healthy snacks being offered also. Providing children with the essential nutrients needed at this time of rapid growth, development and activity. School/playgroup drop-offs and pick-ups are also provided in the local/surrounding area.

My Experience

I have 19yrs experience of working in professional childcare settings providing high standards of childcare and also developing a wealth of knowledge. Being a parent myself I understand the importance of providing a calm and nurturing environment for the children in my care. Providing a place where your child can have adventures, reach those little milestones with ease and make great memories. Giving you, the parent, that peace of mind.

My Qualifications

I also hold an NVQ LEVEL 2 in Childcare and I am fully trained in Health and Safety, Safeguarding Children and Pediatric First Aid.

My Availability

Full-time and Part-time childcare spaces available
Opening times Mon-Fri 7.30am - 6pm
Please feel free to get in touch to arrange a meet and great at my home and to view Little Acorns facilities. On securing your child's place you will receive a welcome pack with all necessary information including a copy of my polices and procedures.
