About Me
Hi, my name is Amber! I am 19 years old and will be attending university next September! I love all things creative, including arts and crafts, drawing, painting, writing, reading, cooking, baking, playing games etc.
Unfortunately, I had to take a break from working due to poor health with chronic illness, which meant I had to leave my job at a Montessori nursery. Now that I can work again, I’m looking for a nanny job for a family instead of returning to the nursery environment.
I hope to be accepted into an internship to begin in July, so I’m looking for a nanny job from January/February-June/July.
I have been driving for over two years, however due to the long waiting lists, I haven’t yet had a driving test. Therefore, I can’t do school drop off or pick up by car, but can within walking distance.
My Experience
I worked at a lovely little Montessori nursery with children ranging from 6 months to 4 years old and I adored my job before I had to take time off. I don’t have as much experience with newborns as I do with 6 months+, but I don’t believe this will be a problem and I am open to all ages.
Through my job I underwent a full DBS check and it presented my clean record: the paperwork clarifying this can be shown. I know the basics of first aid through my CD course and through my mother’s old files (she was a childminder for many years) however I am not formally first aid trained.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 2 Childcare qualification that I achieved with a Distinction*.
My Availability
I am very flexible with my hours, and from January I will be available for full time hours during the week if needed. I’m also open to ad-hoc and emergency babysitting, tutoring, etc. I can work the occasional night if needed.
If a relationship is built with the family, I will also be more than happy to work during Easter/summer/Christmas breaks when I am home from university!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Starting rate at £10 for childcare. Petsitting, household chores, cleaning, overnight childcare, multiple children etc available for higher rate.
