My Experience

Returned to childminding in January 2024.
I have worked as an Ofsted Registered Childminder providing childcare to military families, 2011 to 2014.
Completed my level 3 Diploma in children's and young people's workforce.

Various NHS clinical and non-clinical roles, including CAMHS Crisis.
I have completed my NVQ level 2 & 3 in Care.
Since 2020, I have worked with Teens aged 13 to 19, providing sex education, safeguarding, healthy relationships, online safety. Working in partnership with social care and education to safeguard young people and prevent teenage pregnancy and infections.

While working within mental health, I completed Mental Health First Aid training and awareness courses on topics such as self harm and personality disorder.

Diploma Level 3 Children & Young People's Workforce
NVQ level 2 & 3 in Care
Childminding Agency mandatory training - including Paediatric First Aid
NHS mandatory training including Level 3 Safeguarding
Mental Health First Aid

My Availability

Possibly Tuesday/Wednesday- although these may be taken from October 2024.
Fridays 730am until 230pm - 1 space until July 2025.

Current Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday 730am to 430pm, Friday 730am to 230pm (until July 2025).
Hours outside of these times maybe possibly, to be discussed prior to accepting a place/signing contract.

From August 2025 - Opening Hours will be reduced to Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 730am to 530pm.
Only offered stretched funding- minimum of 8hrs per day.
May consider Mondays but will definitely be closed Fridays.

A waiting list has been started for places I will have once a suitable assistant has been hired or a child leaves.
Hoping to hire an assistant ASAP due to demand for Sept 20224.

No longer offering wrap around care/over 5yrs before and after school care.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

From £6 per hour or Funded Hours.

Under 2s - £9.75 per hour when not using any Funded hours at my setting.
Funded Hours - No additional charges when using just funded hours and additional hours on top of funding £6.

2yrs to 3yrs - Funded hours (additional hours on top of funding £6ph) or £7 ph when not using any funding at my setting.

- Limited spaces for those wishing to use 3y/4yr old funding, currently saving these spaces for children already attending my setting, possibly part time space.

Price includes all outings: Local playgroups/children's centres, Farm, Nature Reserve, National Trust, Seaside, Play Centres, music or other outside activities such as Caterpillar Music Newark in Navenby.

Consumable charge for children accessing 3-4yr old funding, to be agreed prior to contract being signed.

Emergency, Out of hours (weekends/evenings) - Price on request, subject to family commitments and I am not currently registered for overnight care (need a spare bedroom before this can be offered).
