About Me
I want to provide a safe, comfortable and fun environment for a family and their child. Because i’m so naturally chatty, and have so much experience with kids, i’m able to have entertaining, stimulating conversations that are sometimes even nonsensical! I’m able to keep the child safe, fed, entertained with books, games, toys and TV, and comfortable. Essentially i would like to be able to work, doing a job that really matters and positively affects someone’s life, whilst being able to focus on my A-Levels. I want to be able to make sure that the home is tidy and the child is having fun.
My Experience
Because my mother used to be a foster carer, i’ve spent most of my life around many different children from a wide span of ages. I often volunteer at my local after school club, helping look after primary school children, as well as babysitting for my Nieces and Nephew, one of which is a Special Needs child.
My Qualifications
Because of my mothers history with foster care, I have done many first aid trainings. I have also completed similar training at my Waitress and Barista jobs.
My Availability
I’m available after sixth form, preferably 2-3 days a week maximum. I can also occasionally do weekends when needed, but preferably not both days because I would like a day to focus on any homework.
