About Me
Hello my name is Abbie! Looking after children comes to me naturally and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing, I always end the day feeling like I’ve actually had a good one after taking care of them. I’m great with matching a child’s energy, if they’re calm I can be too, but don’t think I don’t have a fun side! I always make sure that the child I’m looking after is comfortable with me, I ask them questions to get to know them and see what things they like. I am up to do whatever they’d like to do, as long as it is of course safe.
My Experience
I have experience with a family of 2 children, aged 5 and 8. The 8 year old boy has autism and is very fond of me, I took a quick understanding of his needs and I am now one of the only 4 people he will hug! They’re like a second family to me, I am hoping to be able to gain more bonds with little ones through this process.
My Qualifications
I don’t have qualifications within childcare but I do have experience from working in a nursery, taking care of my younger brother, my little cousins and other children.
