My Experience

During my level 3 diploma in childcare, i worked in both a primary school & two nurseries with children aged 0-5 years.

I have also done volunteer work with children in Marrakesh, during this time I worked with children with special educational needs. My role involved creating a supportive and inclusive environment, where I fostered a sense of community and worked closely with each individual to address their unique needs. I spent my time supporting them in activities that catered to their abilities and encouraged personal growth and development. I played a hands-on role in assisting individuals in their daily tasks such as providing support with essential activities like eating, washing & getting dressed.

I have recently finished working full time as an early years practitioner. I worked in the pre school class with children aged 3-5. My job role was to organise age-appropriate activities for the children to stimulate their physical, educational and emotional development. I also ensured that the children were safeguarded, following policies and procedures & providing a supportive environment.

My Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma - Childcare & education (Early Years Educator)

The main focuses of this course were child development, health and well-being, understanding children's additional needs, play and learning, assessment and planning strategies, as well as emergent literacy and mathematics.
During my time on this course i worked on placement in three different childcare settings: two nurseries & one reception class in a primary school.

My Availability

I am available to work Tuesdays & Fridays with some occasional Saturdays.
