Hi, I’m Becky! I am a currently studying Psychology at the University of Leeds. I am a cheerful, active and creative individual with aspirations to work in education or child wellbeing services in the future.
In addition to excellent child care I am happy to offer household help if needed!
My Experience
I have worked as a regular babysitter/childminder for almost 3 years, over this time I have provided care for children aged 6-11. This role has involved collection from school, help with homework, cooking meals, providing fun activities such as sports and crafts.
I also have experience working as a support worker for a young man with learning difficulties. This job has provided me with a wide-ranging skill set, increasing my general understanding of the difficulties which may be faced by those with additional needs, and the patience required to remain calm and understanding in situations where unexpected difficulties arise.
In addition I spend last summer working as a sports coaching assistant where I helped to run fun, engaging sports activities for children aged 2-7.
My Qualifications
A levels - psychology (A*), Applied science (distinction*) Criminology (A*)
I have 11 GCSEs including Maths and English at a grade (7) as well as Child Development which I achieved a top grade in.
My Availability
I am widely available throughout university term time, I can almost always be available for advance evening bookings - but am open to last minute bookings when I am able. I also have some availability over weekend day-time and throughout the week days.
