About Me
I love working with children to help them with their art, painting, illustrating stories and enjoying learning . I’m lively and energetic and make lessons interactive and dynamic when it comes to the younger children and help with understanding how to read and in this wonderful language, English. I love cooking dance music and art and of travelled extensively in Latin America and speak Portuguese and Spanish.
I have been teaching for 17 years and love, sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with students. I use a lot of illustration in my lessons with the younger children as I am an artist of storybook.
My Experience
I qualified with the Cambridge certificate in teaching English language in 2007 and have a degree in English literature, child development and politics. I train and tutor second language families in SATS, reading, literacy and writing and their children for the 7-11+ English verbal reasoning, Reading comprehension, applied reasoning, creative and discursive writing for the 11+ - as well as help second language families with their child’s English needs. I am a tutor for GCSE and A level English language and literature and help students to go up from a year or three or two up to a nine in GCSE and develop from an U to A in A-levels with the methods that I use to help them to write essays and answer exam questions.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in English literature and communications with child development, a certificate in teaching English language and my DBS clearance for children and vulnerable children
My Availability
I am available during the week flexibly during the day as well as after school. I can also do weekends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
My English tuition fees range from £40 an hour for two hour session 2 £50 an hour for a one hour session for 11+1 1/2 hour session with GCSE and A-level which is £50 an hour. Babysitting if it’s 3 hours is £25 an hour.
