Hi, I'm a French speaking nanny with over 10 years of experience. I have lived in London for 9 years. My last position of almost 5 years is coming to an end early 2024 and I'm looking for a new family to join. I'm patient and active and enjoy taking children to the playground, library, museum...I enjoy cooking and like to involve children in everyday household tasks. Overall I would describe myself as easy going and spontaneous while still being organised and maintaining structure and boundaries with children. I'm passionate about childhood development and keep myself up to date on current research and read extensively about best practice and various education philosophy.
My Experience
The majority of my experience is with children below 4 but I have also work with older children and can do homework support, I have also taught French to a child in the past. I have worked with infants, several sets of twins and one set of triplet. I have experience with setting up schedules, potty training and weaning. I have also done overnight work in the past. Through my experience and the wide variety of children I have taken care of I have gain extensive practical knowledge of childhood development.
My Qualifications
Equivalent of GNVQ Advanced (major: social, health and biology)
My Availability
I'm looking for 25 to 50 hours, sole or shared care. I live in the tooting Broadway area and ideally looking for a position that is somewhat local, but I'm flexible depending on the schedule and commute time. I'm fairly flexible when it comes to schedule and happy to consider short and long term position.
