About Me
My name is Lisa, I am a mother of three and married. I have two boys aged 14yrs old and 19mths old, as well as a 7yr old girl. My two oldest are in full time education.
My family and I live in a 3-bedroom house which has amongst other features a neat sizeable garden, with a soft lawn where children can play, discover and relax. We are an English speaking family.
My passions are cooking, spending time with my children while we play, visit parks and travel both nationally and abroad.
Our home has been adapted to ensure it is child friendly, and a safe environment for all activities. As I have three children of my own you will always find my home cosy, warm and filled with laughter. I am located in Upton Park, within close proximity to public transport including underground stations and bus links. My street will sometimes have parking spaces however please note that this is fee-payable for any amount of time a vehicle is parked and payment is by phone with relevant signs mounted.
I have organised my living space so that I am able to use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework for learning through play. Our playroom contains several learning resources and toys to explore during learning.
My Experience
I have 4 years of SEN experience while working as a teaching assistant in a Special Needs school. I have had daily contact with autistic children varying from reception age to Year 6. My training has been focused around special needs, while I have also had previous experience in a nursery during a college placement. Additionally, I spent 1 year as a teaching assistant in mainstream school and gained valuable experience delivering learning plans for Year 1 groups.
My experience with new-borns stems from having children of my own whom I have nurtured and raised in my home. My young family have given me opportunities to learn how to identify individual needs and how to adapt to these. I therefore have a good understanding of children at different ages and milestones, as well making changes to suit needs at each stage.

My Availability
I work Monday to Friday from 7:30AM to 5:30PM. Weekends and evenings can be arranged on request.
I currently have spaces available from March 2024.
