About Me

Hi there! I am originally from Yorkshire but have lived in Edinburgh all my adult life. I am very friendly, calm and fun, and love getting to know children and what makes them tick. I am very adaptable and can change my energy and approach to best work and play with any child I care for.
I can both come up with activities to do whilst I am looking after children or let them take the lead and show me what they like to do.

My Experience

I have worked in primary school settings throughout my working life, including as mental health support and as a teaching assistant helping children with learning. I have also worked at holiday clubs for children with additional needs.
I have babysat for various families before, including in the home and taking children on trips and activities in the city, and for children with and without additional needs.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc Hons in Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh.

My Availability

I am generally available for evening or weekend slots, allowing parents to go out and enjoy themselves, relaxed in knowing that their children are in safe and confident care.
