About Me
We are a family of four - two working parents and 2 preschool age children; 3 years old and 13 months old. We are considering, if we are lucky enough to find the right person, to take on a babysitter for the occasional evening and some Thursday/Friday daytimes.
We will require the right candidate to spend the first few times learning routines with us present, before looking after our children without us there. This is not to be controlling, but to ease the children into the care of new people, and to earn our trust with the most precious things in our lives.
We have a very baby/child led approach to how we parent, and expect any babysitter to emulate what we do without any issues. Our children are happy and social, both are in nursery 3 days a week and are used to other adults/children. They are not usually clingy but are active and inquisitive; they thrive off of consistency and we have a nice clean and tidy home for a babysitter to work around.
My Requirements
Some Thursday and Friday daytimes. Please note the calendar below gives times we may require a babysitter, and is not reflective of our usual weekly requirements. The aim is to exchange details with babysitters locally who may be able to sync with our needs when we need it.
