About Me
Myself and my husband are South African, but have been living in the UK for 7 years now (2 year plan turned into 7 and a dog and a baby came along!). We have just had our first baby girl in August 2023, first time parents and newbies to the UK schooling system, we're learning new things every day! We unfortunately don't have family nearby but we stay very active with good friends, walking our dog every day and going for hikes.
My Requirements
I'll be returning to work in August part time until December, and then full time, 5 days a week from then on. We're looking at a childminder not too far from us and a baby sitter to help us on some evenings. Ideally a childminder for 2/3 days a week from August to December, and then full time, 5 days a week from then onwards.
We'd love our daughter to be in an environment where she's is loved and every day she feels like she's going to a second home. Fun, engaging and lots of outdoor time! Not having family nearby means we have to rely on people we trust and get a good feeling about.
