Hello! I'm Benita, and I am a part-time nanny with experience of 5years + working with children.
I grew up in Nigeria and relocated to England to be with family for 5 years. I've always loved caring for children, I have many nephews that I cared for over the years and made me pursue a career in childcare. It brings me great joy to see the little lives I impact every day.

Caring and nurturing - During my time nannying , parents have given feedback on my effects on children and how they feel relaxed and loved around me.
Crafty- I am always thinking up activities to engage the children and keep them entertained!
Outdoor explorer- I love taking children out and I feel like outdoor play is a very important asset to the development of children.
My Experience
Aside from nannying, I have worked as Nursery practitioner.
I was third in charge and also a baby room leader. I had to ensure the safety of the children and gave detailed handovers to parents. I also had cooking responsibilities. I worked as a nursery practitioner for 4 years as an apprentice and moved on to becoming a room leader for 4 months. I also observed children's developmental milestones documented all observations and called meetings if necessary. I also maintained infection control and made sure the environment was free from contamination always with regular cleaning and handwashing.

GCSE
Updated DBS and i have completed several trainings on Effective safeguarding, paediatric first aid , Equality and diversity, preventive duty , FGM , food and allergy and intolerance training.
