About Me
O is a delightful, charming, bright, and engaging 10-year-old boy with cerebral palsy. O uses a walking frame to support his mobility when tired and a manual wheelchair when out in the community. O enjoys exploring new places, playing computer games, socialising and spending time with his family.
O has a therapy team who will provide full training before you are asked to support O with his therapeutic programs outside of therapy sessions.
O eats a mashed diet orally and has all his fluids and medication via a PEG. Whilst experience of working with a PEG is preferable, full training will be provided ahead of supporting O.
My Requirements
We are looking for ad hoc care cover to predominantly provide after school/evening support and occasional weekend daytimes or afterschool hours.
Pay rates are £17.00 gross per hour for weekday hours and £19.00 gross per hour for weekends.
We are eager to hear people who have experience supporting a child with additional needs.
Driver is essential.
