Hi there! I'm Sukanya. I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Statistics at the University of Southampton. I've tutored children in Mathematics and Physics for the past 10 years and thoroughly enjoy teaching children in an interactive way to get them to understand maths better. Outside of my degrees I have leveraged mathematics during my professional career at numerous corporations including Barclays, Accenture and IBM. I am offering my services to children aged 6-14 to assist with any mathematics tutoring.
My Experience
- 10 years experience with tutoring Mathematics and Physics to children aged 9-16 for board examinations.
- Capable of helping pupils with varying degrees of ability.
- Experienced in making mathematical theory as palatable as possible.
- Focus on the conceptual understanding to help pupils strengthen foundations of mathematics and solve different problems.
- Able to suggest a range of questions likely to appear in exams based on previous exam papers.
- Design sessions to be as interactive as possible to ensure complete involvement of the pupil.
- Prepare timetables which can help to increase productivity for the pupil.

- Bachelors degree: BTech from West Bengal University of Technology, India in Information Technology with A Level.
- Masters Degree: Pursuing Masters’ Degree in Statistics and Data Science from University of Southampton.
