About Me
I am a first time mother, living near Peckham Rye in Southwark. We have a daughter called Clemmie, who is one in July. Clemmie is an easy going and happy, giggly baby. She loves bouncing, swings, bath time and going for dog walks. She isn't yet crawling, but she is constantly wanting to stand. She eats well, and loves fish pie and pancakes in particular. My husband and I work as solicitors, so although we try to always be home for bedtime we often need to work long hours and therefore we need a nanny to help us with childcare around nursery. We will try and be at home as often as possible in the evenings, but would still be working from home so you would be primarily responsible for the childcare in the evenings. We live in a terrace house near Peckham Rye with plenty of space and our daughter has her own room. We also have a schnauzer-poodle mix dog called Stanley, who is generally well behaved and very gentle. You would not need to look after Stanley but you would need to be comfortable with a dog in the house, as he would be dropped back from doggy daycare each evening.
My Requirements
We are looking for a part time nanny to provide childcare for our daughter around nursery hours. We would need childcare every afternoon/evening from the time of nursery pick up until our daughter goes to bed at 7pm, and two nights a week we would need the nanny to be able to stay later into the evening. Depending on the nanny's preference, our daughter could be in nursery five days a week or four days a week, with the nanny looking after her for a full day one day a week. We need the nanny to pick our daughter up from nursery, bring her home, look after her and do bedtime with her. In the evenings, we love playing lift the flap books with Clemmie and reading her stories as well as playing with her favourite toys before bed. We always do bath time, as she loves having a bath before bed. She sleeps well and settles easily. Clemmie would eat at nursery, but you may need to provide a snack or small meal if she seemed hungry, as well as giving her a bottle before bed.
