About Me
- In general I love reading as a hobby so doing it with the children I work with is still enjoyable for me and I like to be entertaining with my storytelling too. I have a couple of books that I read as a child so I wouldn.t mind bringing them along to read with them.
- I've been cooking my own meals since I was eleven. Due to my confidence in my skills I can definitely make this an activity for the kids where it will be safe, entertaining and delicious!
My Experience
- In my gap year I worked as a TA with a Y3 and Y4 class and thought it would translate smoothly to do babysitting whilst at Uni.
- I had a volunteering role was with a nursery and I supported the staff for 1hr a week for around 6 months. I had to read with them and help keep them entertained, prepare snacks and drinks, and watch over them during both inside and outside play times.
- I babysat my 6 month old, 5 year old and 8 yr old cousins for around 4 hours a day for 3 weeks. This including playtime, preparing meals and snacks, feeding (bottle feeding too) , watching over them during naps, helping them in the toilet.
My Qualifications
I did Biology Chemistry and Latin A levels and I did my GCSE’s too!
