About Me
Hello my name is Zuzia and I am 22 years old. I live in a small town in the Perthshire area and soon looking to buy my first home in Dundee. I have 3 years experience working in a nursery and a year experience as a nanny.
My journey with Early years started from a young age as I have always been drawn to the excitement and curiosity that young children bring to the learning process. Since the age of 14, my family gave me responsibilities to look after my little cousins which included feeding them, changing nappies, teaching them by singing the alphabet etc. The understanding and interest in children grew more as I got older, watching my younger cousins grow was an amazing experience.
Working in the provision of education in an early years environment has been a very rewarding and dynamic experience. The early years environment has gave me opportunities to make positive impacts on young children's lives as well as support their growth and lay the foundation for their future learning. I was planning that someday I will have my own nursery as I have a passion for helping young children learn and grow.

My Experience
I have lots of experience through working at a nursery as well as nannying and babysitting. As an Early years practitioner I plan and supervise activities like arts and crafts, music and cooking. Help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and story telling. Take children on outings. Change nappies and start toilet training. Sit at mealtimes and support/ encourage children to eat their meals. Put children down for nap time and many more.
I have paediatric First Aid training.
I currently work as a caring and reliable nanny for two lovely families. I split my week between two of the families and Nanny two/three Children at a time aged between 6months-5 years old. I create a safe and stimulating environment, support educational development, and assist with daily routines.
My responsibilities are:
- Providing full time care for children,including feeding, bathing and dressing.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Transport children to and from nursery and activities as needed.

- Perform light housekeeping such as laundry and cleaning play areas.
- Maintain open communications with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Implement discipline strategies in line with parents' guidelines.
