My Experience

I have worked as a nanny for a 9 year old girl who has AHDH, autism and PDA for over a year which was very rewarding and a huge learning experience. I also have extensive babysitting experience with kids ranging from ages 1 to 13. I have worked in nurseries over summer for ages 1-4 which involved changing nappies, potty training and dealing with temper tantrums, and have volunteered in a school helping with reading skills for kids 5-8 years old - therefore am comfortable with any age. I am fully first aid trained for both babies and children with a qualification and certificate for this and I can also help with homework and tutoring having gained experience working in a school. I am good at cleaning and house work and more than happy to help with that too should you need it.

My Qualifications

I have a DBS check and have done first aid training both for babies, children and adults which included 6 hours of in person learning and left me with a certificate for level 3 paediatric first aid. I have also completed training for a nannying agency I work for in Edinburgh which includes safeguarding, general tasks, cooking, education and miss behaviour.

My Availability

Over the summer i am free most days around my 2 days a week working at a hostel and other babysitting and nannying shifts. Going on from mid September this will change slightly but am more than happy to work around my uni schedule. I also have a car so can travel to pick up and drop off etc.
