My Experience

My experience in babysitting is heavily based in looking after my nieces and nephews, I've been doing this since they were as young as 3 years old and I was around 12-13 years old. My eldest nephew has severe autism, ADHD and dyslexia, whenever I've taken care of him I've ensured that he's never feeling too overwhelmed or overstimulated with a task he's doing such as his homework which I really enjoy helping him out with! When it comes to taking care of everyone else, I make sure that I'm keeping my eye on everyone as much as I can so that we can avoid them getting hurt, I try to come up with group activities that everyone would be able to take part in so that no one feels left out. Additionally, I really enjoy playing with the kids myself, I feel like allowing yourself to include yourself in their games can 100% help with getting to know them and building a strong connection. I'm able to cook meals and alter them to fit any dietary requirements that are present or if there's something apart of the meal that a child doesn't like.
As mentioned briefly before, I enjoy helping out with homework and I really put in effort to ensure that the child understands their content so that they can shine academically.

My Qualifications

I do not have official documents but my dad is a first aid trainer and he has given me the appropriate training to deal with wounds, choking and other safety risks.

My Availability

Due to my uni schedule, my availability can be a bit all over the place as some days I'll start early but that say day a different week I'll start late which obviously doesn't help create a consistent schedule, I'm happy to do some evenings/mornings on weekdays but it'd have to align with my schedule if that's okay, perfectly understandable if not!
