About Me
Welcome to my childminding service! I am a newly registered (2024) childminder and mother based in Thornton. With a friendly, sociable, and confident approach, I am dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for your children. My home is shared with my supportive husband and our lively 3-year-old daughter.
Early years education has always been my passion. My journey includes extensive volunteer work and the hands-on experience of caring for nieces and nephews. After years of working in administration and experiencing the joy of raising my own child, I have decided to channel my skills and passion into childminding. I am excited to share my expertise and experience with other families, supporting them in their children’s early development.
Our home is a haven of warmth and friendliness, set in a beautiful area surrounded by woodland, horses, and the occasional deer. I have created a dedicated indoor childcare space and a private, enclosed garden to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
My commitment to professional development is ongoing. I have completed Level 2 Food Hygiene, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Meeting the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework Welfare Requirements, and Designated Safeguarding Lead training. This ensures that I am well-equipped to provide the highest standard of care for your children.

My Experience
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with a Level 2 qualification. With experience in caring for over 20 nieces and nephews of varying ages from birth to teen years, I am able to provided a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, park outings, playdates, and educational fun days. Driven by a passion for nurturing and educating young children, I am excited to extend my enthusiasm to others by entering the field of early years childcare.
I will be offering weekday and holiday childcare services for children aged 0-5 years.
