I recently applied to get Ofsted Registered as a nanny and just waiting for the application to go through, Level 3 in Early years , first aid trained, Valid DBS check and available to work in two weeks.
Hi, I’m Jude, here are some of the things about me. I love animals, I have a friendly sausage dog/ jack Russel myself. I love travelling and being outdoors and always eager to learn more about areas of the world so would love to take your little one/s on adventures around the local area when possible. I am learning new crafty hobbies like crocheting and scrapbooking.
My Experience
I am level 3 qualified in early years and hold an up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate.
I am currently working as a self employed nanny for 3 children, 1 boy (1 year), and 2 girls (3 and 4 year olds). I have been looking after them since January. I have created fun indoor and outdoor activities for them to engage in, taking them for trips out to soft play, the playground, the forest etc.
I have registered as self employed so will sort all taxes/payments out myself.
I have worked in a nursery for 2 and 1/2 years and previous experience with occasionally babysitting my cousins since birth to school.
I have had experience at two different nursery settings since 16 years old. I have completed various online courses to better my knowledge,skills and behaviour eg safeguarding, food and hygiene, prevent duties, biting in early years,witchcraft, breast ironing. I have had experience with children with SEN by working as a key person with a child with a one plan, attending meetings to discuss his one plan and also attending further meetings by a professional to discuss how I can better support children with SEN and what may be triggers.
I am also a part time carer for my dad who recently had a stroke, I am currently looking after him on Sundays and Mondays so aren’t currently available on those days but this may change.
My Qualifications
Level 3 qualified in early years, paediatric first aid trained, online courses (listed in my experience section), GCSES in maths, English, health and social care, health and fitness, geography, religious studies, spanish.
