Hi my name is Maddie, and i am 20 years old.
I spend a lot of my time reading and crocheting and I absolutely adore my cats, Lulu and Yogi-Bear. I have always had a passion for dance and spent most of my teenage years, competing, taking exams and performing in shows. I’m looking forward to going to see swam lake by the Royal Ballet very soon.
Last year I completed a course in bespoke pattern drafting at London School of Fashion and I’m currently designing and making a made to measure corset.
Since starting work as a teaching assistance I’ve realised the need for being able to communicate in different ways especially when children are non-verbal. So in January I started the level 1 accredited British sign language course and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
My Experience
I was a teaching assistant in my dance school for two years when i was younger, helping out in classes, competitions and shows. I am currently a supply teaching assistant for primary schools around Nottingham, working as a general assistant and a one on one. I have been doing this for the last 6 months and absolutely love it.
