My Experience

I bring extensive experience in working with both children and parents. Since my graduation in psychology in 2016, I have been conducting psychological sessions for individuals of all age groups. Additionally, I have a noteworthy background in working with children in various settings.
Between March 2017 and December 2021, I played a supervisory role in the Psychological Emergency Attendance project for the general community of the University Hospital of USP. This encompassed collaboration across all hospital sectors, including the pediatric outpatient clinic, pediatric ICU, and pediatric emergency department.
From February 2016 to February 2017, I worked as a trainee at the Hospital Perola Byington in São Paulo. In this role, I provided psychological counseling in the hospital's wards and ICUs. I also worked in the Outpatient Clinic for Victims of Sexual Violence (AVS), specifically catering to youth and children who were victims of sexual violence.
In 2015, I completed an internship in Hospital Psychology at the Children's Hospital Sabará, in São Paulo. The focus was on enhancing my skills in dealing with sick children during their hospital stay and gaining a deeper understanding of effective communication when delivering news to parents.
Finally, in 2012, I undertook an internship at Lugar de Vida – Centro de Educação Terapêutica in São Paulo. During this internship, I actively participated in therapeutic group sessions with children diagnosed with global developmental disorders. I was involved in individual treatment sessions, accompanying clinical assessments, conducting school visits for child observation, and engaging in conversations with parents and teachers. Also, throughout my undergraduate years, I served as a tutor for children facing learning difficulties, offering private lessons in their homes after school.
My diverse experiences not only highlight a strong foundation in working with children but also underscore my genuine passion for this field. Since I cannot practice as a psychologist in the UK until I provide all the necessary certificates, the prospect of engaging with children in an educational child care framework, fostering their development, facilitating enjoyable experiences, and providing quality time, seems truly rewarding and exciting.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Psychology, along with several specialization courses in health and education.
My academic dedication has led me to explore the transformative power of education, earning a master's degree in School Psychology and Human Development and specializing in Health Education.
I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Psychosocial Studies, at Birkbeck.

My Availability

I have great flexibility in the mornings and afternoons, as my classes are currently scheduled for the evenings.
