About Me
I am a Student midwife, who has interrupted her studies until September 1st. I am really passionate about helping families and people in general, and I wanted to work within that wheel house to gain more knowledge about what families in my area might need from me before I go back into school.
I'm really passionate about academics and learning, I know a little french and polish. I was also an apprentice beekeeper, so I can keep a cool head in stressful situations. In my beekeeping capacity I was responsible for multiple hives at a time for the 3 years, which taught me great responsibility and fostered a care for the environment through my pollinator friends.
My Experience
I have experience within the hospital with newborn's and slightly older siblings. I have a neonatal first aid qualification and I'm working on getting my paediatric first aid and resuscitation in May. In addition when I was 15 I was a babysitter for 2 weeks to a non-verbal autistic 5 year old in whales, non-paid for a family friend. Furthermore I have been to a seminar on Breastfeeding support.
My Qualifications
I have GCSE's in the grade 5-7 range, including optional subjects such as business, drama and French.
I have A-levels in Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy and Ethics.
I also have a basic first aid qualification and neonatal resuscitation qualifications which will be renewed in September of 2024.
My Availability
I have very Flexible availability until September, which is when I return back for my studies. After September I'll have 3 days off including weekend's.
