Hello! My name is Jasmine, I am a Newcastle University student, studying speech and language therapy. I am an International student that lived in Hong Kong until moving to Newcastle. I have had the privilege of working with students of various ages and backgrounds. Whether you need assistance with a specific subject, preparing for exams, or developing effective study skills, I am here to provide the guidance and tools you need to succeed.
I am well-versed in the International baccalaureate program (International equivalent to the A-Level curriculum), GCSE and IGCSE , and I am skilled at breaking down complex concepts into understandable and relatable terms. I believe in tailoring my teaching approach to your unique learning style, ensuring that each session is engaging, interactive, and focused on your individual needs.
My Experience
I have had experience tutoring while living in Hong Kong with students from Key stage 1 to GCSE/IGCSE level. I have worked in Kindergartens and along side primary school teachers assisting in classes.
My Qualifications
I have completed the International Baccalaureate program and I studied Higher level Global Politics, English Language and Literature and Biology, and Standard level Chinese B, Environmental sciences and Maths AI. In addition I completed my GCSE’s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language, English Literature, Chinese, Sport’s science, Maths, Psychology and Art textiles.
