About Me
A professional childminder in a welcoming and joyful family home. As a mother of 2 young daughters, and following a teaching career spanning over a decade, I have continued my passion for working with children by becoming a childminder. Set in East Dulwich, I am close to public transport links, beautiful parks, library, museum, nature trails and more! At Awe and Wonder, we will take part in scientific exploration every day! There is a whole world for our next generation to explore - let's be authors, artists, creators, athletes, performers, mathematicians, scientists and more!
My Experience
Although newly registered as a childminder, I have been a primary school teacher for over 10 years. Half of my career saw me as a senior leader in schools, heading the EYFS and Science. However, I have learned the most about young children through becoming a mother! This has inspired me to read about early brain development and put my learning into practise!
My Qualifications
-BA Primary Education with QTS (qualified teacher status) (2012)
-Food hygiene
-Food allergy and intolerance
-Full peadiatric first aid
-Prevent duty
-FGM awareness
-Safeguarding children and designated lead
-ofsted recognised childminder specific training
My Availability
I provide care 47 weeks a year, Mon-Fri from 8am to 5.30pm. Closed on bank holidays.

My Fees

£70 per day (6 hours or more)
No subsistence fees for funded places except 3&4 year old funding.
