About Me

Hi! I’m Kathleen, a 20-year-old student at Manchester Metropolitan University. Originally from London, I spent most of my life in Hong Kong due to my parents jobs, which gave me a deep appreciation for different cultures and lifestyles. Four years ago, I moved to Cheadle Hulme with my mum as she wanted to be closer to family, this is where I went to college and completed a BTEC in Business before pursuing my passion for sports coaching. I’m now based in Manchester studying Sports Coaching and Youth Leadership, in collaboration with Manchester United, as part of my degree at MMU.
I hold a Level 1 Tennis Coach qualification from the LTA, where I had the privilege of coaching young children at David Lloyd. Alongside this, I have extensive babysitting experience, having cared for children aged 6 months to 12 years in both Hong Kong and here in the UK. I’ve babysat for many families, and regularly help look after my 14 younger cousins!
As someone who was adopted, I know firsthand the importance of making a positive impact in a child’s life. I’m passionate about creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment for children, helping them grow and thrive. People describe me as confident, determined, and always positive. My goal is to make a difference in every child’s life, ensuring they are happy, supported, and full of joy.
