About Me
Hi there! My name is Daniela. I have been working in the childcare sector for the past two years, and have always been around children as the oldest of a big family, i have also done multiple babysitting gibs. I have a full clean dbs and first aid etc. I have experience with ranges of children including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Due to working in a nursery I also have some experience caring for children on the autism spectrum. I truly love working with children, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach.
Nothing makes me happier than running into someone who I used to babysit and remembering all the fun times we had together! I am a compassionate, enthusiastic, and kind-hearted person. I have good communication skills, I am hardworking and adaptable. I speak some Portuguese, adore animals, and enjoy being outside. In my free time, I love to read books, bake, and watch the sunset! My Experience
While I lack a formal childcare qualification, I have gained practical experience by working at a nursery for the past two years with children aged 0-4. Additionally, I have completed a health and social care course, which has provided me with relevant knowledge and skills. Whilst in school, I was awarded a distinction from Cambridge for OCR Level Child Development. As Ive mentioned before I have childcare experience, knowledge, and understanding as i have been around children my whole life and have done multiple babysitting gigs (ages 3m to 5 years). I have an enhanced clean DBS. I have completed multiple online courses including safeguarding, children first etc and have received certificates.
