About Me
Family of four are seeking an after-school nanny to start in April 2024 (you may start earlier, if preferred!). We live in Maida Vale and have two wonderful and well-mannered daughters, 5 years and 4 years. Mummy & Daddy are from Jamaica and Canada respectively, and both girls were born here in London.
My Requirements
Mom and Dad both work in the city so are looking for someone to collect our girls from school and look after them until we return from work in the evenings.
Job Hours: Monday to Friday from 3pm to 7pm (20 hours per week). Ideally, we would like you to be available for weekdays when the girls are not in school (i.e. half-term, reduced hours days at school, sick days, etc).
You will be responsible for collecting children from St. Joseph’s Primary School in Maida Vale and taking them to their activities (a short bus ride and/or walk away) and/ or playing with them after school. The girls do activities three times a week and otherwise enjoy reading, arts & crafts, playing with their toys and watching TV. Our home is located beside Paddington Recreation Ground, a lovely park and we also have a garden where the girls love to play.
You will be responsible for serving dinner to children (dinner will usually be prepared and just a matter of reheating/ serving it to the children but may very rarely have to make a quick meal).
You will be responsible for assisting children with their homework.
Interested applicants must currently be in the UK to meet for face-to-face interviews and have check-able references. Experience with young children is essential as well as DBS check.
Our preference would be for you to live locally with an easy commute.
A good level of English is required.
Start date: April 2024/ as soon as possible.
