My Summary

My Experience

I have 4 years experience working with children and have worked for the past two years as an SEN teaching assistant. Before this, I worked as a private nanny and tutor primarily with a home schooled child with ASC. I work with children with a range of support needs, however specialise in ASC, ADHD, global delay and Down's syndrome. I am comfortable working with non-speaking children, as long as you can provided communication aids such as a PECS book.

I am comfortable tutoring primary and secondary Maths and English, as well as helping with any homework for primary and secondary. I am able to tutor GCSE Chemistry, History and Law, and A-Level History and Law, but you must provide course materials and exam specifications one week before our first session.

My Qualifications

I have completed courses in working with SEN children, learning through play and how ASC affects children's learning.
I have a BA History (Hons) and MA (Law) Conversion.

My Availability

I am available weekends and weekday evenings. For the right family I would be able to work two weekdays as well. I am also available Thursday mornings.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £28.00 per hour

Tutoring rates per hour:
£28 - primary
£30 - secondary
£35 - GCSE and A-Level
For GCSE and A-Level I will need copies of your child's course materials and exam/coursework specificaions.

Babysitting rates per hour:
£12 base rate for 1 child.
£2 additional per child up to a maximum of 4 children.
£2 additional if your child has special needs - I will only work with 2 SEN children at a time.
