About Me

Hi! My name is Dani, I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Woodston.

The children in my care are at the forefront of absolutely everything I do. I regularly meet up with other like-minded, independent Ofsted registered childminders for adventures in our community and nature.

I keep an allotment with chickens which gives the children in my care the learning opportunities to grow vegetables from seed, collect fresh eggs and provide care to a variety of animals.

Children learn best and thrive when they are happy and relaxed and I feel this fosters a curiosity and love of learning that can last a lifetime. With that in mind, I strive to create a high quality, fun and inspiring setting providing enticing learning opportunities that facilitates my unique curriculum while the children are engaged in play. To do this, I offer a setting packed full of open-ended resources and inspiring experiences that are responsive to the needs of the children, their individual learning needs along with my aspirations of what they may enjoy and what they can achieve. I view the children in my care as capable learners and they are encouraged to take the lead with their learning. I interact in a way that scaffolds and nurtures their ideas, with the environment acting as the third teacher.

I plan around children’s next steps and work in close partnership with parents to discuss what the child has achieved so far and what the next steps are to develop their independence and prepare for school.

Minimum 2 days a week, 7 hours a Day from Monday - Thursday 07:30-17:30 from just £6.50ph
Catering from 6 months to 5 years of age
Based in Woodston
