About Me
I am a former Primary Deputy Headteacher with experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I am also a fully qualified child and adolescent yoga teacher with certification in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Reiki and SOMA Breathwork. I'm passionate about encouraging cautious learners to believe in themselves, building focus, concentration, resilience and self-confidence. I live in Northwich and happy to travel locally or to provide online sessions.
My Experience
I have 10 years of teaching experience in the Primary Sector (EYFS, KS1 and KS2). I have experience in preparing children for the Phonics Screening Test and for SATs. I also have experience working with children with ADHD and Autism. I am passionate about making learning fun, enjoyable and accessible to all.
My Qualifications
I have a PGCE in Primary Education. I have full QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). I am fully trained in Safeguarding (Level 3) and Paediatric First Aid. I have a Level 4 Diploma from the British Wheel of Yoga enabling me to teach yoga to children and adults.
