About Me
We are a family of 2 working parents & two little girls who are almost 4 and 1.5 based towards Haydons Road Station in wimbledon, a little over 10 mins walk from Wimbledon Station.
Both children have been in nursery 4 days a week until this point, and I have them together on a Friday. Our eldest loves learning, practicing writing, ballet and needs someone really nurturing with her. Our youngest is a little more carefree and adaptable!
My Requirements
Our eldest is going to school in September, and we've been advised by the school they're very unlikely to have wraparound care available so we are looking for help to start at towards the end of August.
As two busy parents with no family nearby, we are looking to hire a nanny to help us up to 3 days a week. At the moment I'm trying to balance all potential options/combinations of part time nanny / housekeeper or after school nanny. I'm open to hearing from anyone who is interested in the following:
- 2 after school shifts per week equating to 10 hours per week, with potentially more in the holidays. Picking up our eldest from school at 3ish and taking her home and then picking our youngest up from nursery at around 5.30pm (nursery is about 100m from home!)
- 2 after school shifts (eg 230-7) and 1 full day per week (eg 8-6) equating to approx 18 hours a week. In this scenario, we'd reduce our youngest's days at nursery so you would spend one full day a week with her and then do pick ups across the 3 days.
In both scenarios, if you were willing to do some housekeeping / cleaning there would be a few more hours available.
We are really looking for someone to feel like part of our village, to become part of our family and ease some of our stress so we have really quality family time when we aren't working.
