My Experience

I have amazing experiences with babies, children ranging from 0-12months, 1year to 14years and the experience was great for over 6 years working with Save A Child Mission. Having worked as an In-Home Nanny, I understand the importance of fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. I am experienced in all aspects of nursery care, including meal planning and preparation, educational activities, hygiene maintenance, and ensuring a tidy and organized living space.

At my previous role, I had the privilege of working closely with families to provide personalized care for their children ranging from planning nutritious meals to organizing educational activities and outings in ensuring that each child received the attention and support they needed to thrive, and I am dedicated to creating more positive and enriching experience. I am confident, dedicated, and have genuine love for working with children.
During my tenure as an In-Home Nanny, child minder, I had the privilege of working closely with a special needs child, which provided me with invaluable experience and insight into providing personalized care and support. In this role, I was responsible for tailoring activities and routines to meet the unique needs and preferences of the child, ensuring the child safety, comfort, and well-being at all times which is very important.

There is one particular experience that stood out in my mind: I had the opportunity to work with a child who had autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Understanding the importance of consistency and structure for children with ASD, I collaborated closely with the child's parents and therapists to develop a customized care plan that addressed their specific strengths and challenges.

I implemented sensory-friendly activities to help regulate the child's sensory processing, such as incorporating soft textures into playtime and creating a calming environment during transitions, this really helped a lot. Additionally, I utilized visual schedules and social stories to support communication and promote independence in daily tasks.

Through patience, empathy, and ongoing observation, I was able to build a really strong rapport with the child and provide a nurturing environment where he felt understood and supported. I embraced each day as an opportunity for growth and learning, continually adapting my approach to meet the evolving needs of the child and celebrate his progress and achievements.

Working with a special needs child not only deepened my understanding of developmental differences but also reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate and inclusive care to all children. I am confident that the skills and insights gained from this experience have equipped me with the empathy, flexibility, and resourcefulness necessary to excel in any childcare setting, including with children who have special needs. I feel so fulfilled knowing that I create a comfortable and awesome connections with children I have come across over these years.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.50 per hour
• Nannying from £11.50 per hour (gross)

My fees are flexible
