My Experience
I worked in a nursery looking after 3-4-year-old children. I had this role full-time for 5 months. I also occasionally babysat for 2 and 3-year-old children - usually on the weekends. During these roles, my primary responsibility was to ensure the well-being and safety of the children entrusted to my care. This encompassed overseeing the organization and smooth execution of daily activities, both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, I played an active role in facilitating structured playtimes, ensuring that children engaged in enriching and developmentally appropriate activities. Part of my duties also included assisting with meal times, particularly lunch, where I helped in feeding the children, and ensuring they received proper nutrition in a supportive and nurturing environment. By actively participating in these activities, I aimed to create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for the children while also maintaining a keen focus on their safety and happiness.
