About Me
Hello my name is Tanayé (pronounced Ta•nay) I am a university student who has just finished my undergraduate degree in real estate, I am also looking to my masters following in September/January. I have taken on many jobs between the ages of 18-21 of all different roles (and I mean lots :) ) . I have previous experience working in a nursery as a bank staff, here my role was to supervise children, support them with reading, problem solving, singing, rhyming, playtime, nap time as well as serve break time snacks and lunch.
A bit about me personally;
I am an introverted extrovert, I like to speak but often times suss out my environment before I do so, I am very big on communication as I don’t like misunderstanding and try to refrain from any built up animosity in any situations. I believe honesty and integrity is the best way forward to creating a safe space ( this is definitely a skill I have carried on from university).
In my spare time I like to read (challenged my self to a book a week / sometimes two weeks if I’m busy :). I have recently started painting, I’m not an artist however I like to tell myself I’ll get better. And over all I love to go out with friends and family when I have the chance to. I love learning need things as well as teaching others what I have learnt too.
My Experience
I have experience in a private nursery as a nursery bank staff, dealing with 6 children to one staff, supervision, reading, feeding, nap time and feedback to class teachers (babies, toddlers and pre school).
I also have experience with special needs adults, more specific cerebral palsy (non verbal/ non mobile) , this includes giving medication, feeding through a tube and changing/ bathing. Also learning how to suction and look out for choking on saliva/ secretion and the signs that the adult may need massaging/ back pats to better help the situation.
