About Me
I’m a reliable, patient, organised and punctual fun- loving “ young” Grandma! I’m married with two grown up sons and two beautiful granddaughters aged 4 and 2 . I love animals and have a rescue mini dachshund .
When I get some time to myself I like to swim, cook, garden and travel as well as have a go at all activities involving arts and crafts.
My Experience
I have spent many years in Uganda primarily there with my husband’s work but during my time there I set up a small nursery school as well as ran a small childcare / nursery preschool for 2 years. I have also worked in international schools with preschool age and Reception children.
I have also provided after school care and homework help for many expat families.
I helped set up and run a successful swim club for children and accompanied the children all over Africa for International swim competitions acting as chef de mission several times.
I have also been part of a team looking after an autistic child at home and enabling him to attend Kindergarten .
More recently I have been looking after my two grandchildren from birth to the present date and that has involved pre nursery care , nursery drop offs/ pick ups after nursery care and taking them to age suitable activities including playgroups etc.
I love to spend time with children of all ages and look forward to helping more families locally .
My Qualifications
Recent first aid refresher course completed
3 A levels 4 AO levels and 13 O levels

I’m available for babysitting or more regular part time childcare.

Flexible depending on hours and what duties are required ..Small charge for travel over 5 miles to cover fuel . Babysitting rate is FROM £13 an hour
