About Me
I'm an American healthcare professional that recently relocated to the UK after getting married. I'm energetic, professional, and most of all love children and seeing them engaged and inquisitive. I love teaching, being goofy, and most of all building confidence in kids academically and socially. I adored my job in healthcare but left the hospital setting to have a better work-life balance. --- that being said I completely understand the demands of working professionals and am very understanding of last minute changes. I know that the nannying position extends to help around the house, flexibility, cooking, and general supportive roles that just help family life run a bit smoother. Consider me a teammate :)

My Experience
Full time nanny for four children (two sets of twins!) for 5+ years during my university education. It was an incredible experience supporting children 40+ hours a week and developing a wonderful relationship with them and the two full time working medical professional parents. It was an "all hands on deck" experience and I absolutely loved and treasured it.
My latest position includes engaging a bilingual 2 year old with educational centered play-time to help develop confidence in English language and confidence to transition to nursery care.
Prior to moving to the UK I was a healthcare OR theater professional providing care to children and adults. All credentials and DBS checks available. Advanced CPR training and able to work with medically fragile children.
I love tutoring and helping children engage in learning that fits their abilities and helps them shine.
As a woman in STEM, my tutors helped me believe I could and that made all the difference to me in academic pursuits. I am here to support parents in whatever their needs are and be a friend and playmate to the children I help support. It takes a village.
My Qualifications
Registered CNIM (neurosurgery), BLS-CPR certified, DBS advanced check completed. 5+ years nanny experience. Children newborn - 12 years. Tutoring and academic mentoring is also available for any age. Eligible to work in the UK.
My Availability
Let's chat! Currently, I have accepted a role Monday-Friday during normal business hours however I am available Friday evenings and weekends for evening babysitting. Weekday evening tutoring/sitting available after 5:30-6pm within Brighton. Happy to help with homework and evening routines even if for a few hours if located in central Brighton. Unfortunately, my availability does not include afterschool/activity transportation.
