I've been working with children in different settings for 20+ years. I'm currently a foster carer and I work part time in a local primary school.
My Experience
After completing my degree in psychology, I worked in a residential childrens home. I then worked in a primary school for 8 years. I did a conversion in to law and worked in a law firm for five years, before becoming a foster carer.
My Qualifications
I'm a registered child minder with an agency. I qualified in September 2023, but as I had four foster children, I put it off. Now that two have moved on, I'm ready to start.
My Availability
Afternoons, evenings and weekends. In September, I will be setting up my home nursery so will be available all day as I won't be working at the school
