About Me
Qualified Reception Class Teacher looking for a part time live out Nanny position. Since having my daughter I have been a Nanny for over a year and worked in a children's Nursery for children aged 9 months- 4 years.
I am currently taking a taking a career break from school teaching to focus on raising my daughter who is nearly 2 whilst looking to support a local family with their child care needs.
Myself, my partner and my daughter enjoy spending most of our time outdoors exploring Oxfordshire and making friends at local groups and activity centres.
My Experience
I am a qualified Early Years Teacher with 7 years experience working in primary schools and preschools. From working as a class teacher, I am familiar with both the EYFS statutory frame work and the primary curriculum. I have taught many different schemes of phonics, enjoy reading stories and exploring the importance of language from an early age. Whilst living in New Zealand I have cared for children as young as 9 months as a Preschool reliever. I have a Classical music degree and play the piano, flute and enjoy singing rhymes and songs. I also have experience teaching children aged 4-12 structured swimming lessons and water safety. Last year I completed my Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and am confident to take groups of children to local parks and woodlands, in all weathers, to explore and engage in outdoor activities eg, den making and fire building.
