Hi! My name is Angel, I am 21 years old this year and I study Business and Management at the University of Exeter. I am looking to elevate my skills in childcare, expand my CV whilst also enriching some young minds! I bring a comprehensive skill set and deep empathy to my role. My expertise includes creating educational and engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development. I am adept at providing a safe and loving environment for children, ensuring that daily activities are both fun and beneficial to their growth.

Being born and raised in Singapore, I am well-versed with different cultures and cuisines. Moving out here to the UK alone also has taught me valuable lessons that can be helpful. My closest peers would describe me as, empathetic, caring and friendly!

Skills and Experience:
Having 3 younger siblings and a dog myself, I am no stranger to messes and loud noises, this also means that I am used to cleaning said messes and dealing with said noises! A little about my role as an older sibling that might give you an insight to my skills and experience. I am the oldest of 3 siblings, my dad works abroad so there have been many times where all 3 of my siblings would fall under my responsibility. This includes cooking, showering, homework, bedtime, etc.

Additionally, I also grew up in a very big family (I have over 30 cousins...) this means that I am CONSTANTLY surrounded by young ones, making me experienced, considering that I am the family's designated babysitter...

Routine Childcare:
Daily care including meal preparation, hygiene, and structured playtime.

Educational Activities: Hands-on learning activities designed to match educational goals and developmental levels.

Emergency Care (£20/h):
Available for last-minute needs, ensuring reliability and continuity of care. Kids can be dropped off at mine for convenience. Let me know up to an hour before you need me!

Early morning & Late night care surcharge:
I charge £18 per hour or early morning (6-9am) and late nights (9pm-2am)


Highlights:
Homework Help: Assistance with school assignments and projects
Art and Creative Play: Encouragement of artistic expression through crafts, painting, and storytelling.
Outdoor Activities: Organizing outings that are fun and beneficial, like visits to
playgrounds or parks.

My approach to childcare is holistic and child-centered, focusing on creating a positive, nurturing environment where children can thrive and explore their capabilities. I am passionate about helping each child grow into their best self by supporting their unique paths and respecting their individuality.

Each tutoring session typically lasts 60 minutes. This duration allows enough time to cover new material thoroughly and revisit previous topics without overwhelming the student. For younger children, I sometimes break this into two 30-minute sessions to maintain their attention and effectiveness.

Note:
- I also have gaming consoles (PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Ipad) that I could bring over but this is completely up to you. I understand that some parents would like limited screen time for their kiddos :)
